Male grey chinchilla for sale. He comes complete withe 2 cages, food and all accessories. £100. Loving home required for our sweet little boy. He is apporx 5 years old, (chinchillas can live to about 20), fit, healthy and very friendly. House move forces sale.

One cage is vertical and measures 35" high x 24" long x 18" wide and one horizontal which measures 36" long x 23" high 18" wide, the two cages connect by tunnels. One cage has a hay rack and inside the cages are two wooden huts/houses where he sleeps, a large play wheel, a ceramic dust bath (chinchillas must not et their fur wet and so bathe in a specal dust similar to sand), a food bowl, a water bowl and ledges.

The cage is easy clean with a pull out drawer at the bottom of ach one. Simply line the bottom of the cage with newspaper and change 2-3 timer a week. Also included are two books and a carry case in case you ever need to take him to the vets, though we have only taken him once in three years for a check over.

Chinchills are nocternal (night animals) so best to keep him in the livnig room and not a bedroom. He likes to come out of his cage for a run around at least once a week, but best top ut him in the bathroom as chinchillas tend to chew, a bit like rabbits! You can sit with him and he wil lrun all over you, and may even give you a kiss if you are lucky! Chinchillas are easy care, clean, non smelly, fun pets.

This whole package is worth around £600 but we are more concerned about finding him the right home than the money. So I may want to check out his potential new home. If this offends you then you are not the person we are looking for.
